Divide defenses across turfs

Right now the game boils down to who has the largest mob and thus the best defense (potentially).
This basicly means that once someone has a large mob, they are untouchable by all the small fry. But it's a bit silly to think that BigDog's 6351 miniguns could be similtaneouly deployed across all of his 1022 turfs.
The game might be more balanced if the defense ( and attack) numbers for turfs were spread across the number of turfs currently controlled.
The only problem I see with this is that as BogDog lost turfs, his defense would increase to where no one could touch him.
Options:
- a turf loss also means a loss of those weapons / armor
- have a max defense cap on turfs
- have a non-linear relation between total number of turfs and the amount of total defense available to each turf...just a thought

Nah because then it would level out the playing field for every1, this is a bad thing because people who have spent time/money will bow have low lvl players killing them.
