Temp codes for resets
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Temp codes for resets-
I think it would be very useful if players who reset would be assigned a temp code for a week, currently the only way to catch resets is to go back and re punch all your codes again which is painful and not a good use of time. And to counter the "what if they reset multiple times?" Have the code connected to the apple ID address and just change the time that it expires to reflect the last reset

Someone told me that they did. We need a volunteer to reset, not punch or invite mob and see how many invites he receives and what their locations are. If he is getting invites from mobs that are based a long distance we know he gets a temp code...

Or we could have someone reset and punch all the temps looking for their new name

I'm pretty sure players that reset don't get a new temp code, but you'd have to message support to be sure.
That's why TWDB has an option for mods to reset flags on players that reset. That way their codes would show as needing to be punched again. I still reset them when I find them, even though most people use ICM.
Temp codes were created to help some new players get a bit of mob quickly to try & encourage them to stay in the game. They weren't created to help established players. So this suggestion would depend on if nick chose to make them serve that purpose too.

Not every new player gets a temp code to start with anyway. The only way to confirm either way is for someone to message support & ask.

I think a player who reset should get a new permanent invite code; wouldn't the solve the problem?
