I would like a tab on the map that has extra features on them. Mainly the one I want to see is a Route Finder. You would be able to use this once every 6 hours. When activated you drag the pin from the pull down tab and place it somewhere on the map. It will then take your closest turf and show you the fastest route there. It will be in effect for 1 hour or until you put the pin back which ever comes first.
It will be aware of road blocks and dead zones and if you can fly there or not. Calculate everything and show you a blue path (on the building map)
Some people still have the old map that won't change so maybe a bright red path for them.

What do you guys think

One hour is along time
Fine how about 3 hours
If you're able to use it every 6 hours 3 of those hours would be in use

It'd be good for wars, but not long distance hopping. I'm not sure what you're looking for here I guess

It'd be good for wars, but not long distance hopping. I'm not sure what you're looking for here I guess
I thought of it being very useful in highly populated areas. There's been times where I try to hop through or out a very highly populated space and ended up going the wrong way because I couldnt zoom out too far

👍I've found myself on the odd occasion going to the maps and planning a hop. I don't like the hour thing tho.

See, I actually go to maps and plot my hop. Then I write out directions on paper. This would make that easier.

Sometimes I go to Google maps & take ss. I only do this for some long hops though that will take more than 1 day.

You can't always skip through it. It depends. Google gives me enough of a guideline that I can figure the rest out.
TW won't be able to account for dead zones anyway or clumps of turf you have to hop around.

I use the tw website while hopping. That way you can see yourself hop and also see what is in the way or if you need to find an alternate route. Zoomed in iPad, zoomed out website map.

That's a very good idea! I almost never have my computer open if I'm hopping, so that hadn't occurred to me.

I love this idea. Let's make it happen. Or... Atleast highlight available travel routes like woth Google Street View
