Player A can demand that Player B surrender a single chosen turf otherwise be attacked or continue being attacked, once surrendered Player A cannot capture another turf from Player B for....lets say a week (7 days)

I like it because I know how it is being relentlessly attacked and you need just a few days to bounce back or build mob to defend yourself. I also thought that Player A could just forgo asking for a surrender so say if Player B lost 5 turfs to Player A he/she can offer a turf to surrender that is automatically accepted by Player A; but only if offered!!!

Not too keen.
It kills the idea of being diplomatic with other players. -
Mules. Mule builds turf, surrenders turf, repeat.

If I am player A, I can cap any of your turf so why would I ask you to surrender it? If I do that I can't cap you anymore for a week, there would be no advantage to player A?

If you're out of range. But it should not be a single turf. It should be an amount disclosed by players, but within 1000 miles. This would keep diplomacy in the game. I think the idea wouldn't work because of mules thoughIf I am player A, I can cap any of your turf so why would I ask you to surrender it? But then that's bad for them because they can choose a turf very far away and then once it's turned over and the new player is in a new area they can use it to go cap crazy on those in the area. Which will help those being hunted for cap happy actions and it's also like spoofing
