Hear me out. I think every turfer should get to have 1 and only 1 headquarters. It will cost 75% of your money or 1B, whichever is higher. You can cap from it, and the range is the same. Your HQ can be capped. You cannot tax people with it, because it is not a turf. The advantages of having a headquarters are the following:
It will make you 4 times the amount of a typical turf. If you're in a heavily populated area, it will make 214.4k per hour.
Another upside of this is that your overall defense will be doubled to help protect your headquarters. Your defense will stay the same for yourself and your turf, and your attack from your HQ will not go up.
Mules cannot benefit from this because what kind of a mule has 1B sitting around?
Building distance around the HQ will be twice that of an 86 influence turf. Any turf built within that radius will have a 20% defense increase. -
Mule accounts can accumulate a lot of cash.

If someone caps your HQ can they use it as a HQ? What if they already have one? Can they cap it anyway?

I don't think that it should be captured but instead destroyed and a hefty price to rebuild one. Also it should only be placed in your GPS area. Cool idea though.👍👍👍👍👍

Thirty seems fair. And i am not against it being anywhere i just like the idea that if your beat back to your home town than you can place turf and have the headquarters to fight from. But you could always use it fight in any city than.

30% is still way too high. If I were to create one it would cost me like 40-50 billion. And I can tax other players from it. Only make 214k? Just to have double defense on one turf. And 20% bonus on other turf in it's area? The HQ and the other turf near it would still be able to be capped by larger players with no problem and boom there goes 50 billion for nothing.

The headquarters idea is great. I think the dev tram should consider the idea and than if they accept it the minor details will be determined, either by them, the players or a combination of both.
One thing is that the HQ should have some team related benefits as well. Such as several players bunk ing down in the HQ to boost def ewe and benefit them all that are inside the HQ. Any income benefits and such from the HQ's influence would be equal to them and not deduce if one player is in the HQ or maybe four players. Also the players can be in this HQ as long as they want. The HQ could also have influence upgrades with options on how much it costs and of the players want to split the upgrade price between them, since the upgrades would have to be expensive as a minor disadvantage but have some decent or better quality benefits with each upgrade. One key strategy this HQ could provide is a road block.

With the new geocoder, many dead zones along roads and around roads used as strategy points in this game before are now gone and this could be as a road block to prevent access to a certain city. Using several HQs by an alliance or just a player blocking the only road into town could secure the area better and have a way to secure the area without constant monitoring as much. A system similar to a vendetta would be needed to counter the blockage strategy though. The system would be based around the HQ though. The enemy HQ would need to be within a maximum range of like 25 miles or less to be used though. The distance part can be used as another minor disadvantage so players in the intended target HQ would need to watch around in case another HQ is in position to be a threat to their HQ.

How the system like the v in a HQ version is uncertain but the devs could figure it out if they like the idea enough to make it a reality. And lastly, if a friend becomes hostile, the HQ's current owner, either the creator or someone who captured it (if there were several in an HQ V they would decide who was owner of the HQ currently), could kick them out of the HQ and lose all its benefits. Also, the players listed as 'inside' the HQ would add to the defense strength of the HQ. And this is all just ideas.

I like it, but I think it'd make it almost too powerful to add up your total att and def. I don't know though. You had a lot of great ideas there!

Only the defense would add up. Attack doesn't count. However, how the defense adds up, a fraction of some kind of the people's defense or the whole thing or some other defense-based system using a measurement the dev trams creates that bases on overall stats or some type of the player's stat is up for ideas. Either way, it isn't a huge issue. Most players would use this idea at one point like a vendetta and most are not 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k, 60k or 70k sized guys. Most HQs would be small players jointing to road block another group of enemies. They get in a big friend to act alone to damage the HQ and the HQ V comes in to finish or further weaken the HQ. Another minor disadvantage is that the heal rate would take some time, quite a bit longer than the rate a turf or player heals. Maybe like a day or so if it gets nearly destroyed. Either way, it takes time to heal and the enemy still have a chance to finsih the damage they did when they are refreshed in stamina and finish the job.
