In order to cut down on trolling dbags (ie niccolo/Chimera) I think the forums should be limited to people who actively play the map. There are plenty of places out there to flame and debate. Let's keep it exclusive to people who actually care about the map.

I completely agree... This is no damn internet chat room... It's not ment talk crap that can't be backed up. Not laying turf and playing turf wars??? I don't get it. Who has time for that? This is a great suggestion. If you have no turf then you should not be able to speak for yourself or others...👏👏👏👏👏

If a player wanted to post something then all they would have to do is lay a turf or attack someone and they would be considered active. There would be no way to enforce this rule.

I agree, it was just another way to bring up and illustrate the point. I liked the point in the article that mentioned how many people leave online games and how much money people like nick lose because no one wants to put up with the trolls.

Yeah but it's a lot less convenient for them. I'd imagine fewer people would bother. Especially as, if someone's capped their last turf, they'll be watching out to cap any more that are planted.
It's far from perfect, but it's an improvement

It's far from perfect, but it's an improvement
If all they wanted to do was troll then they would still be under don protection. So they wouldn't be able to be capped.

No thats a terrible idea I dont play on the map tht much make art every now and then but we shouldn't have to play in order to talk to old friends like duair and fachan

No it doesn't
It takes away the don interference but we would still need to get past the 10% rule

Don't forgot the influence and I'm not talking about V forums
Lvl 50 and a specific amount of influence would allow us to cap out any trolls we want
We will be able to maintain who can post and who can't and if we get tired of a troll we can push then into a permanent silence until we see they learned their lesson
