Call it the War Room or Drama Room or whatever...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of seeing all over-dramatic shit-talking, accusations, personal attacks, alliance this, war that in General Discussion; after nearly 8 months of surprisingly enjoyable gameplay & interaction with other players, I am teetering on the verge of never opening the forums again.

I used to really enjoy reading & participating in the funny & entertaining discussions that have existed up until a few months ago...& now discussions like that are very few & far between.

Why not limit General Discussion to just that, general, non-game discussion & move all the unnecessary, childish drama to a different forum?

And by the way, this is not intended as some ultimatum...I'm not threatening to quit over it, just saying it's not fun anymore & if one reasonable player feels this way, there are likely others out there who feel the same way.

I know that I really don't have much impact on the forums; so I don't expect to be missed, should I decide to leave.

I agree with the idea. But given the time we've all played this game, we should realize that won't stop it. I mean, most of these people are the same ones that repost questions addressed in the FAQ. It's a great idea, but given the intellect and maturity of the majority, I feel it would be futile.

nah. One of the players involved is the guy that wrote the FAQ. It'll at least slow everything down.

Yeah, but us few aren't the majority. And we also aren't the ones creating the need for another forum. It seems to me that the only way to keep childish drama contained to a single section, would be strict moderating of the forums, to delete or move these posts. But if someones going to do that anyways, why not just completely remove the posts and require it to be contained to their own comments.
