Add: KOZY Aug 21, 2012

I was recently at Toronto airport between flights. I tried dropping a pin but couldn't because it was so packed. I'm not complaining about it but I think that there should be some way to plant turf if you are physically at a location even if the location you are at has no room. It would give a little bonus to actually using the GPS.

I was thinking just being able to drop a pin even if it is to dense. This would also apply to anywhere not just airports.

I think that would create problems with selecting the specific turf if the centers could be that close. It gets difficult enough as it is in the heavily crowded areas.

True. Maybe just halving the radius of the no build area for when you are physically there.

Maybe the ability to bomb a turf off the map if you were physically on it in an airport. Underwear bomber.

There's an idea! A bomb that you have to physically be at the turf to plant! Destroys the turf completely. Could use it at the airport or in your home town. Would also give the small guys a way to fight back in their hometowns. Hmmm.... I think it shows some promise.

My first thought would be carbombs. As of right now they destroy upgrades. But maybe they could be tweaked so that if you were using one on a turf that is within your green build radius, at your actual gps location, it would completely destroy the turf.

My idea, which was written in another thread, was the ability to cap turf based on your gos location. This would be a huge advantage when fighting on your home turf, so it should come with a cap limit separate from the normal cap limit and far smaller.

I remember that, and agree. There really needs to be some sort of advantages to using the gps. As of right now there are only disadvantages. Like the distance penalty. Even if you are physically at a location and you plant turf you are weaker for 4 weeks. Doesn't make any sense. Makes sense when using plane tickets, but not when you are physically there.
