Couldn't find the original request for this, but it's still needed. Players posting blantant invite code threads that aren't in the invite forum need disciplinary action. By ignoring this you are just encouraging it to continue and it will only get worse.

How about nick opens up an email address where people can email a sort of "mini-application" as to why they should be a moderator. Maybe nick might want to follow a rough guideline including game name, age, how long you spend on the forums, etc.
Then nick can choose who he wants trial as a moderator.

Everyone here has very different opinions, so then will a moderator, about what is acceptable and not. I can see big problems with this.

That's why trials are put in place, to test those who wish to help nick in moderating the forums. It'll be a bigger problem if the community of turf wars continues to grow and moderators aren't put in place.

I agree, but there is the potential of lying? Maybe Nick should ask players well known for having a gd rep or people who have contributed to TW,

Probably! Maybe nick can choose a handful of people from the applications and have a poll on the forums? Let the public choose, maybe top 3 votes become moderators.

3 moderators wouldn't be enough maybe 2 for every forum as a beta?

I agree. We've seen a few people get spanked, and beg for forgivness.

This is good thinking, but what if the moderator holds a personal grudge against a certain poster and then blocks their threads or something. Then we'd need moderator moderators!
