Turf defensive upgrades should do more

It seems to me, that when defensive upgrades were made for turf, it was never anticipated that mobs would get to the 20-30k range let alone the 70k range that they are today.
I feel that defensive upgrades for turf should do more, perhaps a 10% bonus based on mob size for that turf alone.This would need to tiered based on number of upgrades, and it would also be come at a 20% increase in cost based on mob size.
These numbers are arbitrary, but I feel that a good deal of strategy is being lost by not utilizing these upgrades

Why are you even using the defensive upgrades? They're a waste of money. Do you use the bank too?

Agreed, a percentage would make them more useful, but what if a larger player equips them, it makes that 30k mob into a 33k mob def on turfs. Maybe a lower percent on higher mobs or even a higher upkeep? Just a thought

I agree with the percentage idea. I also agree that the upkeep cost should change based on income (just like ER visits).
