Maybe an ied bomb for turfs so if someone try's to plant a turf on top of yours it denies that person for 24 hours or a set amount of time to give the victim time to defense up?

How about all the turf around it plus the one Planted is destroyed. IEDs don't politely stop your humvee.

No. I could put a turf on top of a bunch of my stronger enemy's turf and have an ally blow them all up. Seems like cheating.

I think it's perfectly fair. It adds more strategy to the game. Calling it and IED an having it do no damage is a bit obsurd(sp). If you don't want it to do damage, then call it a roadblock or something like that. People lose lives by IEDs.
