Google maps "dropped pin"

When I play around on google maps it allows me to drop a pin any where I want. This feature would be rather usefull of it carried over to the turf wars google map. That way if I'm hopping somewhere I could put a pin in my destination for easy reference while in transit!?! ( there are other reasons this would be helpfull too)
What do you guys think??????

I like it, but would only benefit from it sometimes, but when I want to, it would be really good.
