Put a limit on the amount of threads 1 player can make per week. I don't know... Maybe 5?

What about players that post more than that in helpful, intelligent, or relevant posts? This would be an all or none situation.

Hmmmm interesting, most helpful players are posting answers more than creating threads. Requires more thought, what if you screwed up the OP. Is that 1 post or 2?

No. Just no- if this happens I will leave the game. That is too far. Less than 1 per day is way to harsh a limit. You might as well say something like "maximum 100 mob per day" the rage that would invigorate the people with would break the game. I hope this never happens. I know the troll problem is bad, and the terrible threads are bad, but imposing a limit when 80% of players are posting helpful things is Too far.

Seriously? I post less than 1 thread a month, probably less than 1 every few months. Who needs to make a new thread every day? I don't know if I'm for this idea, but maybe it would get some players to stop & think whether a thread was really worth posting.

I rarely make threads either, but I believe that keeping trustworthy players on a leash, and giving little free will could have a negative effect

@amAdmiral May- I think the people that post Almost everyday or every other day could slow down to make this limit. I also don't think you would leave the game of it happened.
- as for if I like it or not... Idk it is a hard call cuz devs can only micromanage the game/forums so much.
