Geocoder problems?

I would just like to verify if the geocoder updates are working to fox the "no city" thing. It's causing alot of confusion around here because people keep getting capo due to no city being listed. I don't think this is fair and someone mentioned that it's because of the geocoder update. Is this true? Any insight as to when we can expect this to be fixed? Or is it an unrelated issue all together. Thanks for the help
