How about factories for our turfs?

And trees to spruce them up?

Factories would add income, and trees could add some defensive measure, thus requiring upkeep.

BUT-you could add a cap and trade mission that would allow you to get carbon offsets to reduce the number of trees you would have to buy per factory.

And in the market, you can have a Fake Global Warming report that would increase the income from your factories.
