I'm not sure if this has already been suggested or thought about but anyway...

I think it would be a good idea to incorporate an elect system;

one player from each country or set region of the map will be chosen (vote?) but the person has to submit themselves-- required level? "" mob? Amount of players to enter?

Once they recieve said title - president, prime minister and so on, they have a say alongside the dev team which updates/improvements should be put in TW. There isn't much speak of fore comming updates (some people like a surprise but others don't) so this would be a good way to relay information back to the players instead of leaving us in the dark.

I haven't really thought much on this (will add more throughout the day) I just wanted a rough estimate on how many people think this is a good idea.

The main reason behind this is the people's say. Not every TW player speaks up so in my view this could attract more players to help out in their community to gain the vote, possibly less trolls?

Some players may believe they are, in a way, being ignored by nick and the devs - I know they are very busy and have created an amazing games thus don't want to speak to anyone, but in my opinion I think he should give us a little heads up every now and then, that's where the elect person(S) comes in.

Feel free to shout abuse and harsh criticism.

Gain perks?;
Such as 1 free turf
More income?
Declare war on another leader?
Assign 2 other players to help?

Doesn't look like anyone is buying into this idea. But I would vote "The Man" if it got up.

The clone would end up president because he has a lot of people, some strong and some weak. If this idea is carried through with, there should be a minimum mob/level/time played/influence for voters and people running

Why would nick give people not employed by MeanFreePath a day as to what improvements get implemented or share proprietary information?

People that want to make suggestions make them in this forum. Tons of them have been implemented. No one needs to know what might be upcoming. I don't see the point of this idea.

The idea isn't entirely implemented around feedback from nick, that was just one "perk"

The main idea was some form of dictatorship. I can see where you are coming from tho, but if it was to be put into the game I'd like to see some form of "test" (so its not permanently encorporated) just to persuade a few minds.

Have a think about it and add something to it and I do believe it could be a great idea.

Sorry, but I don't know anyone that would want a dictatorship. The game is just fine.
