A priceless or rare loot that you can equip to a turf. A player can attack that turf, but if they try to capture it, and they get it down to 0 health, it will work as a car bomb to their nearby turf. This may make it so that it is too far apart, and then the victim has time to react. Any thoughts?

You have 67 turf so this may be slightly practical for you but imagine someone with 1000+ turf. what is the likelyness they will be able to predict which of their turf are going to be capped any time soon

Maybe instead of working like a car bomb just make it so it hurts the turfs around the turf that it being capped. And the turfs that get hurt, their owners get a message saying that "your turf [turf name] was hurt due to a landline explosion instigated by [attackers name here]."
The capped turf doesn't get destroyed by it losses say 30-40 inf work of upgrades (higher upgrades and work your way down.) the amount of loss can be more. It's just a number I threw in as an example.

👆 this will instigate warring (that's what this game is about primarily).
We can also limit say the use of this loot to a max of 3 at a time. So basically you can only equip a max of 3 of these loots. You can either switch the loot to a new turf or you can wait till the loot explodes to equip a new one to another turf.

That would require some studying of areas then I guess 😏
Or we can make it so you are allowed to equip one for every 50 turfs. I think that's reasonable.
People with too many turfs will just have to choose whether they want to be able to decide where to equip easily (reduce ur turf count to a manageable size) or they want more income. You have the power to make it easy to choose the turfs to equip the loot to.
