Priceless loot item: Skeleton Key

An item that can only be looted via the highest energy missions, that enables our 'buy' buttons for a 1 time purchase of any "not common item" for a quantity not to exceed 1000. Why do we have a 'buy' button for Kevlar-lined Suits if I can't ever buy them with my faux dollars?

I like it but feel like 1000 is far too large of a number.

Should also not be applicable to the 'priceless' class loot (Bren gun and whatever other OP loot is released in the future)

He said a not common loot.
Brens are priceless. So they are not in the not common section.
And buying more skeleton keys? The skeleton keys sound rare by the fact it's only available in high energy loot mission.
Therefor its a rare loot and doesn't fit into the not common loot section. Meaning you can't buy skeleton keys.

1000 is way to high but sounds like this idea wouldn't be too bad if it was modified

No I meant that you shouldn't be able to use the skeleton key on priceless loot, meaning you can't use the skeleton key on the bren gun to purchase more Bren guns.

I'm even thinking that's too much, just my opinion though. I haven't been playing a long time like some here, but I put some time in. I only have 60 Kevlar lined suits, it just doesn't seem right to have loot that can double that. I was thinking maybe 25?

Priceless loot was only available for the Christmas 2011 double look week - hence the term "priceless."

Whatever you want to call it, priceless-rare-unusual-strange-bizzarre- it's just semantics. The first line of my proposal said "only looted" not purchased. Stop trying to use an easybutton to find an easybutton, the universe will collapse on itself.

Point remains, we should have a lootable item that unlocks our items for a one time purchase for a variable amount. Which items and the quantity are just a matter of degree. It would incentivize doing higher energy missions and reward players with the loot they want instead of garottes and brass knuckles. It's just an idea and in no way perfect, prob disregarded by Nick anyhow.

The amount should be 1.5% of your mob so a person with 2k can get 30 but a player like mickey Dunn could get 900. This should be priceless. And should not be allowed to be used on any priceless loot. So this would only be allowed on double loot weekends.

I also am not familer with skyrim, the term "skeleton key" has been around a great deal longer than any and all video games. So surely skyrim was derivative of the term from the onset. I like some variance of BatSmurfs mob modifier idea, but my own personal opinion is that all loot should be on the table (except another skeleton key). Players who had the original foresight to stock up on Brens during double loot week would retain their deserved advantage via a headstart on quantity, but those same players would have an equal oppurtunity to access additional "priceless" (or whatever) items.
