What is that lag? It happens when you open the app from multi tasking. It shows the last TW screen you were on for a few seconds (sometimes longer) before even updating or anything. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before iOS 5 came in. Not sure if anything can be done about it as may be a platform issue but if something can be done please do it 😏

I hate lag. By the time I get TW open half my shit has done been capped.

I agree whole heartedly! You get attack msgs saying you are getting capped while you have the app open in multitasking, so you click it to save your turf.. now commence staring at the same page frozen until it refreshes.. turf gone and another been capped. FIX FIX FIX... please :)

I ad mentioned this lag issue in another suggestion thread and I was told it's fine by many of the vets. I even messaged support and got a reply saying that they cannot do anything about message lags since they don't control the speed at which apple servers forward the messages to the device

You were talking about delays between the notification messages I believe.
(Edited as the spelling mistakes made comprehension difficult)

I have never had this lag when using wifi, I have experienced this while using 3G Internet through my mobile phone provider. I think this is more a problem with your Internet ping and dl/ul speed rather than the game it self being laggy

Yeah I read and i answered it exactly how I wanted to. I still don't have any lag when opening the program with wifi. I start it, it takes less than a second to load when loading with wifi, but when I use 3G and open the program it takes much longer, usually 3 seconds or more. I still say it is his slow Internet connection and not the game. It could also be his phone which is lagging especially since he says "it happens when opening the program from multi tasking"...

Once again you are explaining the traditional lag, slow internet is very likely not to explain this. He stated he didnt have problems before updating to iOS 5. Lag would have been present on any iOS version if he had it. I feel like I'm talking India tech support. "is it plugged in?" "have you tried restarting it?"

Dude, although I agree with you on the topic of this thread, what you just said above is stereotypical and I resent that. I am Indian you see. Funny thing is whenever call centers are talked about it's Indians that get the negative rep when nowadays a large portion of call centers are operated outside India.
There is no reason to be stereotypical in the forums, no matter how frustrated you are at someone.

Although I still receive support from Indian customer care more often than not, I'll just assume that I'm just a statistical anomaly considering you have probably done more research on this than I. I apologize you feel this way, I was more so pointing to the fact of outsourced customer care in foreign countries where they pay a pittance of a wage to a person that is just solely reading prompts instead of actually investigating the problem. Point taken though a better choice of words would be outsourced call centers instead of focusing on the Indian sector.

No it came with version 2.22 which fixed some caching problems caused by stupid isp's which use proxies that changed headers. It reloads tw after a certain time of being in the background...
