Witness Protection

  For 1000 don points you get entered into witness protection. Witness protection will let you change your name delete any signs of you through the forums, private messages, or turfs you may have built that were taken from you. Witness protection will also start you over with a 1 inf. turf in a far away city.

  I really like this. 1000 DP might be a bit expensive, maybe a couple hundred would work better

  No it wouldn't destroy it. Maybe where it said built by Funky Buffalo instead it would say built by confidential.

  No it wouldn't destroy it. Maybe where it said built by Funky Buffalo instead it would say built by confidential.

  Or it would say funky buffalo and not have a link to your profile and since you have a new name they couldn't find you

  Hmmmm good questions. 1. I think you keep your money but i feel like your loot weapons need to be sold off. If they weren't logical reasoning might take over with hmmm funky buffalo 20 brens and 85 beretta before he disappeared. This new guy in china named funky bunny love has the same amount and the exact same mob.... Get him!!!!2. Your turf all gets destroyed, I picture this being used by someone who has pissed off an alliance like dragon tatoo. The idea is so no one knows where to find you.

  And it's a win for Nick. He's getting $40 for it and a player who otherwise would probably be reset and stop playing keeps playing and has the chance to keep spending $. I'm sure the technical details of erasing any trace of someone would be complicate though. I wouldn't want to pay $40 just to have someone google my username and find me lol.

  You're losing all loot items, and all turf. You're hardly winning in the situation. If it wasnt in a far away city your enemies would figure out pretty easily that it was you. I can see someone starting in the middle of Montana using it to get to a more populated area though. That is a good point.

  True anonymity for a reset should cost, maybe 500 DP is enough though.

  Leave it at 1,000 DP & you lose everything. You CANNOT bypass the gps part of the game - that's against the TOS.
  You'd already be getting a huge benefit by your enemies not being able to track you. You don't need more benefits.

  I'm not even sure I like the idea at all. There are consequences to everything you do, whether in rl or a game. You shouldn't be able to just get out of them. Players looking to do so probably don't want to admit they were wrong or actually apologize.

  I agree with most of that. Just thought it would be cool to have that option much like in real life witness protection where you disappear and pop up in a new city and your enemies are non the wiser. But maybe your right. This was never for me by the way. I just thought it was a cool idea.

  Exactly. If it was implemented, it should be equivalent to a reset & cost 1,000 DP.

  I know of a few that might use it. If they don't; it's no big deal. As Baron said, you shouldn't be able to bypass the GPS for Don Points. I seriously doubt nick would go for that idea.
