I've just realised that as you can place your turfs a certain area around your current location that iPhone users are at an advantage.cause they have built in Internet they could just walk to where they want a turf or drive there and place one whereas iPod touch users can't as they don't have built in gps which is the same abroad.

Plenty of iPod touch users are in the top mobsters, despite this disadvantage. We could ban use of the app on 3G or ban all iPod touches - either "solution" cuts off millions of players from trying their hand.

I have an iphone, but I live in a third world country, so it may as well be an ipod. I think there are three places here about the size of an actual turf where I get a decent signal. My own home is NOT one of them.

Get in the passenger seat of a friends car and have them drive around a few neighborhoods, or apt. complexes where you want to place a turf, and search for a wifi connection. I guarantee you will find at least 1 unlocked router you can use. Park in front of the house, so you don't loose the signal, and place a turf. It has worked for me a couple of times.

Look. I'm a touch user. I've also been on every singly top mobster list at one time or another. At one point I was on every one at once. Yes we touch users have a few disadvantages. Really I think the biggest one is not being able to log on as often and not the location thing. After all there's always turf hopping. My point is yes we have some adversity in playing on a touch but doesn't that just make us stronger players for being able to overcome it?

Yep I agree. It makes me feel special, being another touch user 😋

I do what I need to get by. If it slows your wifi I apologize. You have to admit you would do it too! :p
