With protection money I think it needs updating.you should have the option to pay or not to pay and if you pay then the player can't attack you as it's protection so you should sctually get protection.and if you don't pay then they can attack you cause at the moment If you pay it then they can still attack you so what's the point in calling it ''protection'' mobry

Interesting, would only work with lower inf turfs though. Could add another dimension of tactics to gameplay
-
Lowering inf to not get capped? Geez, but then you should choose if you WANT protection money.
-
You pay police protection to stop them taxing your turf income, you dont want to get your turf capped you move it, or loose it. Alternativly form a vendetta to protect your assets and drive out invaders
-
But this is a realism feature based on the real life protection scam. You aren't supposed to get anything out of it. Bad idea that's been posted many times.
-
Not police protection I mean when you overlap someones turf and they pay you protection money
-
Wait until you're big enough to start enforcing protection on others and the see if you still want them to have the option of not paying you.
-
I wouldn't mind that much if it meant that the game was more realistic.
-
But that could mean that by planting low inf turfs in protection distance of enemy turfs and choosing to pay the protection would make you invincible against them, so you could set up a v and if you have a turfs paying protection money to loads if his turfs he can't delete every single one so he'll not be able to fight back, meaning even the lowest player could pack too bug a punch and that the higher players would dominate, or that people would never have high inf turfs.
Basically there would be a loophole bigger than thuglife 1 inf turf scam.

I agree to the first post. I can't afford to leave and I'd pay anything to not get captured
-
Actually it could be that if you don't pay protection money than the player is notified and can take your turf regardless of the capture conditions.

Seems like a good idea o. The surface, but like te other ppl are saying, too many loopholes. They could be fixed, yeah, but t's probaby not worth the effort. Games are better when the rules are simpler.

In turf wars it is worth the effort.that's how games get better.if 'nick' said too much effort to every idea then turf wars would be shit
