A character count on forum posts would be rather useful IMO. I hate typing out a reply just to have it be too big. And then I hate having to guess and check on the number of letters I've erased. This would be a simple solution.

This would actually be helpful!

I actually downloaded an app that does this (for when I write help forum threads), but the app didn't match what TW said. I haven't bothered trying a different app.
