I think that clicking the turf button twice should bring you to your location. So if you scroll around or just because it's a simpler way to do things you can find your self easier.

You can already do this. To re-center on your current location, double tap the top if the screen (in the middle, where it says "Turf Map"). That will take you back.

Btw, that trick (double tap top of screen) works on every page of the app, only on other pages it will scroll you to the top of the page. This works on all the included Apple apps as well.

It's a little different, that's a single tap to the status bar. The turf map is a double tap to the title bar.

I like double tapping just for extra effect 😜. Thanks for the clarification though.
