The new multitasking feature is great, but there's one flaw.

When I return to the app, if I was browsing a thread before I closed it, the thread is as it was when I closed it. I have to exit the thread, then come back in to see new posts. This wasn't a problem pre-multitasking, as you loaded the thread every time, but with multitasking, I think we need a refresh button on each thread page. Or possibly even a feature such as shake to refresh?

This is a great idea :) We've considered adding the refresh buttons (like in News) to all screens but this doesn't work with the existing UI in some places. We'll look into it...

The next release of Turf Wars will auto-refresh any screens loaded before you reload the app from the background. It should hopefully be in the app store in a week or so.
