I'm trying to add some symbols to my name for an alliance thing, but I can't because of the character limit. Can this be in an update?

Is 15 characters not enough? Just change it to Zpike or ZebulonPk. Even that one would free up 3 spaces. Should give you enough room to add the emoji after that.

Some names already have issues because they cross into the time. It will be more than just adding the characters. It will require reformatting how posts are presented.

Way to big Zebulon only has 12 that's almost triple his name 20 is the right amount.

Apparently some emoji count as 2 characters I just ran into this problem when I changed my name yesterday.

😱 that can be a potential problem too. But I think 20 is a decent amount. Like BAT SMURF said, 30 could be a little bit too much.

Look at vin his name is half the page you change it to 30 and it will go through the page.
