2 turfs per airport
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › 2 turfs per airport-
I think you should get a Max of 2 turfs per airport area, reason is you land there finally and can't go anywhere since the airport is over saturated with multiple turfs from the same person. It seems like a waste of a police map to hop out of airports also this would help people looking to leave their area.

Or maybe you could have a larger turf radius to establish a turf but only when you're on or very close to the airport.

No, blockades are there for a reason.
-
There are a few airports open like large gaps just gotta find the right one..
-
Just pm the owner of the airport and ask to be let in.

Then pm one of the many other players at an airport. This has already been suggestion. I'm still opposed to it for the same reasons I've stated previously. You can go read 1 of those threads.Ꮹཞ།ཀཀ 7 hours ago Quote

I like this idea. I pm the 2 people who owned SAT and didnt get a response

I think that it should work as follows:
Say an airport has a build radius of 15 miles. If there are no open spots to plant a turf for anyone wanting to fly in to the airport within that 15 mile radius and if they have no turfs in that city, then the build radius should expand until there is available space to plant at least one turf. This should only work for your first turf in the city
Also keep in mind that I am not suggestion that the airport area be expanded at all.
If you have to plant a turf out of the radius of the airport when you first fly it, that turf will be considered out of the airport (meaning you will not be able to use it to fly out of the said airport)I hope I made that clear enough.

I like Dagamer01s suggestion.
(tl;dr - first planted turf gets a minor increased radius but gets places outside the airport.
tl;dr tl;dr they throw your bags on the street.)

I don't believe u should be able to block an airport completely.

It's a strategy made by a few powerful players. I fail to believe every single person in a city would support said blockade. Also it's a valid strategy only until the game mechanics allows it to be. If Nick decides to implement a counter to blockades, it won't work. As new features or alterations to current features get added to the game, strategies will change.👎👎 Blockading an airport is a valid strategy.

You're merely wanting to make a change because you don't like the strategy being used. However, it makes no sense game-wise for nick to regulate how many turfs a player can have in an area. The game would cease to be a war game at all.Mystery wrote:

If nick regulated the amount of turf a player could have in an area; there would be no point to war. It wouldn't even make sense. For example, if a player already has 2 turf at an airport, then what, they can't cap any turf at the airport? That's ridiculous.

That's merely a difference of opinion. I think it would create more war opportunities. If those creating the blockade really wanna keep people out of a city they should have to work to keep it that way. Not simply plant turfs on every inch of the airport and leave it at that. That in fact lessens the amount of warring that can happen. If people can get into a city, those that create the blockade will have to actually fight (by way of capping or Vs to destroy the turfs) to keep the new comers out. Right now with blockades people can't go into certain cities by way of airports (many people don't play as much to be able to effectively hop across states.). If people cannot go into the city, those that create the blockade don't attack them. Thus there is less warring. -

Btw my suggestion in no way asks Nick to regulate the number of turfs a person can have in a area. It's asking yo increase build radius around the airport if and only if there are no valid spots available to plant a turf at an airport via a airplane ticket. This in no way prevents people from having any number turfs they want in a particular area.
You seem to not like the idea because it will make blockades a thing of the past and those that create the blockade will actually have to war to keep people out.

Bad idea, how do I quickly hop out of the airport?

So, the radius will just keep increasing until the entire city is an airport? You may as well make teleporters then.
I believe juan valdez was asking how he would quickly hop out of an airport after he had flown into the city. The idea being to find a safe place & actually have turf elsewhere, not just at the airport.

You didn't read my suggestion carefully enough it seems. Specifically the part where i said that the increase will only increase the build radius encircling the airport not the actual airport radius. Say the airport radius is 15 miles and u use the expanded build radius to build in the 16th mile, that turf will be a regular turf. It cannot be used to fly out. This is only to allow people to use their airplane tickets to get into the city. If you read careful, you'll see that I made a note to say that I am not asking for the airport "fly" radius to be expanded at all. As for the hopping question I guess I misunderstood but then again my idea has nothing to do with hopping OUT of the airport. Its about using ur airplane ticket to get into the city ur wanting to fly to.So, the radius will just keep increasing until the entire city is an airport? You may as well make teleporters then.
