The next time you want to cap someone; attack their turf once & then wait 15 seconds until you attack it again.Y don't we just pm someone what turf we want to cap and what time, then we can wait for a response with a time that were allowed to cap 👍
I actually think you'd prefer the outcome of every fight to be based on random chance alone. I don't know why you are still playing this game, since you seem to hate the way it works so much.

In this case: the frequency and ferocity of warring has nothing to do with the current attck/dfnd mechanics. It is due to diplomacy more than any thing -
I honestly do not hate the game as you so quickly have jumped to believe. I just believe there is a lot of room for improvement. They can make the game balanced, fit more in line with the concept of "War", etc.
In this case the issue is to be in line with actually warring for a turf. Not simply you take my turf and then if I can I take it back or take some other lower persons turf to replace mine.
Just because a person suggestions a change to a game doesn't mean they hate the game.

Look is not like I am providing a fix all solution. And sure when one change in a game gets implemented there are likely side effects to other aspects of the game. Some may be positive some may be negative. You are right to point out the negative side effects. Sure, this suggestion cannot be implemented standalone. Obviously, Nick and the other devs will have to make a number of changes to balance the game mechanics. Its not our job as the community to write out the complete solution for the devs word for word (if it so happens, that's a bonus for the devs). We are merely nudging them in the correct direction.
With that said, it's been clearly established the game is not perfect. This is simply one of those imperfections. You may not agree with my solution and that's fine. Ultimately it's Nick's decision whether he was to fix the identified issue using my solution, some form of my solution or a completely new solution.

The posts I have made in this forum have been all giving my input either to a offered suggestion or offering my own suggestions. Seriously, your going to judge I "hate" the game based on posts I've made in a forum section made provide suggestions to change the game? Do u not see that flaw in that? -

So you lose the first turf?!?! So what? Plant two turf in every area you have turf in.

Lets face it this idea would just slow the game down too much. It's simply not worth slowing the game to a near standstill just to help players save a couple turf.

If you want some kind of real time back & forth struggle to see who can push the buttons faster, then schedule some with another player.

All things being equal, defence of turf always wins. The only issue is the delay from clicking on notification centre to getting to the actual news feed. I don't think that's a TW issue. I think. That's an iOS issue. But if anyone knows for sure please confirm.
Other than that, defence wins 99% of the time.

I'm most confused how you think this delay would increase fighting. It would actually decrease fighting because theoretically you should never lose a turf unless you are outnumbered (in which case you lose no matter what, assuming they all can cap). Fighting would come to a standstill during the day, and capping would really only occur in the middle of the night...IMO that is infinitely less exciting in this game.

So today I was looking through forums (ie. Playing TW actively.) one of my turf starts to get attacked. I knw cuz my news tab showed a number 1 on it as I loaded a forum thread. I got to news tab and see 4 hits. I click on turf name. By the time the turf loaded it was not only capped but was also taken down.
So now not only is it impossible to save a turf even if u wanted to try through notification. It seems it's also pretty much impossible to save a turf even if ur active in the game.
I don't see how u don't see anything wrong with that.

Fine, even if I do take ur point about the delay not being the answer, you cannot deny the fact that this is failed battle mechanics. The way the game is now, it gives more importance to the offense. But logically, in a fight if ur the little guy, your suppose to be more defensive. You can't do that here effectively.

I just capped two turf from him. No delay and he didn't heal either. Wonder if he is still active lol.
