Invite code on profile
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Invite code on profile-
Instead of always logging into ICM, i think a invite player button on each players profile page would be cool. So players can be more social ingame and can mob up through stalking rather than punching. Also helps us newbs. Only one invite player to player, if declined they cannot invite again.

I've got experience but I think this could work but what do I know😜

Been suggested many times already. 👎

I think it's cause they want you to be actively promoting your own code, so I guess this would kinda mess that part of the game up. So I'm torn now on this issue. LOL.Dadd (add JW) wrote:

Not really. If you go through the top mobsters list or the forums to search for players you'll spend a lot of time doing this and it won't get out of hand. Also if you search by name you have to stop the search to invite anyone so you'll use your ten searches which will also stop it from getting over used. I think it could work just having the code visible.Mr. Smiles😋 wrote:

I'm on the fence on this one. It's not such an aggressive change as to make mobbing up a joke, it does make mobbing up easier. In many ways people already do this by having their mob code, or a list of their friends & theirs on their wall. So is this taking the effort from the player to promote their code? It still requires players who want to punch codes to go from profile to profile to hunt the elusive codes that they don't have. As such there are still advantages to be gained from the forum or the websites where many codes exist on one page.
Ok thumbs down to an invite me button.
Thumbs up to having a field that can contain your code.
A further thought if you have not logged on in a month, the field goes blank, this makes it an easy way to identify inactives.

⬆thanks for the input, your points are fair :)
I have one more pro choice point and that is that "if" the button or code box was implemented it will be a different colour if the person is in your mob

No. That does make it too easy. A box or sticky has already been suggested too.⬆thanks for the input, your points are fair :)

(contined) Posting your code, your promoting it. It's not like more than 2 or 3 people will invite you without posting.....
-
Ok, Ill sum it up.
People wanted an "Invite Me to Your Mob" button on their profile. People thought that would be too easy and cheap.
I suggested we just put your invite code somewhere on your profile. That way, you'd still have to 👊 the code but could know who your inviting. People seemed to like that.
Then someone asked why it's not already on there. It was then said YOU should be promoting your own code.
I said that other than a few people, the only time someone will tap your profile and find your code is if you post. By posting, your promoting.
Ok? -
Yeah but not an invite me button i agree with a code though
-
Actually as you can see from its title, i originally planned this suggestion to be an invite code, but then thought the button was a better idea, because you can just invite people close to your turf by button...anyway i would like some more feedback off the 1000's of players who play regularly.....

Everybody should just post there invite code on there coments page

Well the thing is if a player didnt really want the invite code in there, like mickey dunn or mystery, bas or tas, they could put their alliance name in there instead to declare their angle within the game...
@brakeall - yeah you could jist post in comments, but sometimes if I'm lurking I never really stalk comment walls, but study their stats instead....

Technically a sticky or box could have anything the player wanted to put in there. I'm not in an alliance, so I wouldn't have that in there even if I didn't want my code there.

I really agree👍

Maybe put their code on their profile, but not an invite button. It would make it too easy to mob up.

Terrible idea
