If you have a cluster of turf it should account for a slight defence
Mabye 5-15%?

I think that the first turf you set up should be a stronghold. Imagine you're being capped, you wouldn't want that prized base be captured without a fight, right? Maybe a defense bonus ONLY on your first turf.

The clustering/clumping does actually help draw new players to the area which increases income, even if they come to tax/cap...

I think you need to clarify what you are talking about. Are you talking about 1 player clustering his own turf? That was how I read it. If so, that's a terrible idea. Different players tend to naturally cluster their turf already. How would you even define a cluster? How many different people have to be there to be called a cluster? There is already an income advantage having many different people with turf close to each other. Why should there be another advantage?

No. If you're in a war and you go to cap someone you could place three turf right by there's and it would be harder for them to cap you in the 24 hour span you have until you can cap them.
Throws off the goal of the 24 hour rule
