I was thinking that it would make sense, if people have money to spare, to have a stock exchange. Maybe like shady companies. So, you would buy into stocks and they would fluctuate randomly, you can sell your stocks buy more etc.
Even if it wasn't based on a stock exchange, just risky investments you can take in any way shape or form. Let me know it you like, and if you don't and please add suggestions to improve it!

Interesting idea. I think it would add a new depth in the game. I'm still relatively new but I don't see any way this could be abused

Yeah. Mobster. Not petty thief. Mobsters invest in shady/illicit companies and ventures to launder/make their money. I'd much rather be invested in people who steal cars and resell them over beating up grandmothers. Of course, every mobster had to start out that way ;)

It's sounds like a good idea. But now that I really look at it I would be chancing worthless cash to possibly gain more worthless in game cash. Players need things to spend their trillions on but I don't want to risk winning another trillion.

I will ponder on that. Maybe when you invest in certain ventures, you can claim certain loot items. I'll bring up the car thing again. Maybe, after investing a certain amount of money, you receive car bombs weekly or something of that nature, depending on the price of the stocks. Obviously, more valuable loot would come less often and at a greater price.

For example investments in a shipping venture would result in an occasional smuggling tunnel, real estate in a title deed, PI work in a police map, etc.
