Now after all..
Anyway...
What if the income of an area was in reverse? The more mobsters, the lower the income? After all the area can only provide so much money... And this would turn into a bloodbath pretty soon

But then people who are small and in the middle of nowhere will become very rich as to someone starting in a city like New York will be too poor and weak to do anything.

This is a bad idea because noobs and weak players would have to quit. Yea it sounds good. But they couldn't defend themselves. Yea they could mob up. But a large mob is pointless without weapons. Can't buy weapons without turf. And no one would let them plant turf. They wouldn't even be able to hop to a unpopulated area because they don't have any money. This game would turn into all out war between several large players. Anyone below 25k would be forced out. It would become stagnant and no one would trust anyone due to the constant change of sides.
In other words it would eventually kill the game.

Ah but there are limits in place that protect players based on level. Do you not think that would be enough to protect them?
