Never fails. The bad posters are always players who don't actually actively play on the turf map. I'm thinking require a minimum of 200 captures per forum thread and 50 captures per post
-
I agree and disagree. How about instead of a set number, maybe it could be by percentage of captures based on the people in your areas. There are not 200 turfs in my area that I could capture, so unless if I hopped a lot or continually took over the smaller players in the area, I would never meet those numbers. Either a lower number or a set percentage could be useful

I think time based is better then caps

Then you are automatically locking out people in rural areas and smaller cities. Or more casual players. Those numbers are way too high.Add: KOZY wrote:

How about making people buy a "voice" in the forums with don points? 100 don points buys you the ability to comment. 500 don points buys you the ability to make threads? You only have to purchase your "voice" once.....

I don't cap much but that's because the only active people in Ottawa have huge mobs.
-
So I shouldn't be able to post because I'm not an offensive player? Not caps.. I rarely cap people anymore unless they piss me off. I still punch and play actively, don't troll, and buy limit.

what about having 1k mobster for 1 post/day;
1,5k mobster for 2post/ day
etc? -
Base it on mob.

And who is going to police whether you have a valid number of caps before you post? I think it's a ridiculous idea. Don't understand why people want so much control over what others post. It's that whole thing about 'one man's trash is another man's treasure'. Some people love political threads, some hate them. Some love the 'I need help with my girlfriend threads', or 'Congrats X on Y mob', others don't. If you don't like the subject title - DON'T READ IT. It's that simple! If it's a good thread it will catch a wave, if it's not it quickly sinks off the page. Enough with the Big Brother controlling!

I don't like this idea. You're condemning everyone in remote areas, and everyone who only has like 30k mobsters in their area.

I like the idea, but more than 95% of the players havent captures more than 10 turfs. Let alone 200.

Also good idea, but again, what about the casual players? Thats asking for $20 just to make threads?! B: "But the theory is wrong. We get a lot of crap threads that get stuck on the first page. Something has to be done!"
Me: But who is to decide which one is a crap thread? Some people think political arguments are crap, while I think they are far more interesting than ones about "getting stuck in the bathroom", which for some reason totally beyond my comprehension, is a classic! -
