There's not much incentive to lvl up really, is there? Apart from profile points of course, but that's not such a big deal, all the weapons and armour is available @ lvl 20 if memory serves me right. Should amount of the mob you can use on attack/defence be determined by your level rather than your dedication to mindlesly tap in 100s of codes?

Well you also get more influence when you level up. You can capture more turfs, and you get skill points. I think leveling up is crucial if you plan on having a big mob since you need to fund your weapon supply via turfs.
More levels = more opportunity to capture and gain turfs.

Your influence and turf limit rises only until certain lvl (40? Don't remember) after that only way to increase number of your turfs is through capture or respect points, which makes leveling up pretty unimportant.

um, not true. I just got a new one at level 68 or 69.

Ok Bella ;-), before that what was the highest lvl when your turf limit increased?
