Wouldn't it make more sense to have Attack/Defense points increase your overall attack by a percentage? For example, +1 attack would be +1% overall attack. I don't know if that would work in the big picture, but at least the stat would be useful at all levels then. It just seems ridiculous to have a stat in the game that is only useful at the low end of the spectrum, and by the time you hit the end game it's useless. Why even have it there at all in that case?

I made the mistake of adding points to my attack & defence early on.. Utterly pointless.

But that's my point. It shouldn't be like that. With energy and stamina and health, the points you put in are typically always useful, no matter your level. But with attack and defense, they become useless in the end game.

In most games where you have the concept of our att/def point system there is some form of multiplier or the points are worth more (ie. 1 pt = 25). Here it is a 1:1.
With the uneven balance in the current weapons system and turf wars turning into "code wars" these have virtually no impact on the game. I made the same move in the beginning and am still optimistic that this will change.
Code wars is getting old and it practically drained my desire to play the game like I used to.
I look forward to the upcoming gang system and seeing what changes will actually go into effect
