Capo but not getting benefits

I have capo status in 2 towns but my turfs are still paying protection. If I look in the protection menu it says i'm Capo. What do I need to do to tickle the server to know not to charge me - in once case the income is negative because of this.

Having similar issues with two turfs of mine, and one is only getting 80 influence instead of 84....
