So I'm unable to buy don points from the website and get the 10% off. My suggestion is create a 3000 don point pack for $99. I understand that this would be slightly more than 10%, but it would give the in-app purchasers a way to get the discount benefit. Just a suggestion.

I think the website discount exists to encourage you to use the website and not buy in app. When you buy in app apple take 30% of the purchase cost. Even with the website discount they make more money when u use the website. Thats why they dont want to give the in app purchasers the discount. More likely to help you would be to suggest an alternate payment method on the website.

Is it really that difficult to start a PayPal? You can even go get a prepaid credit card from any store to feed it

Not a bad point. I've never had a paypal and don't really care to, but if I could use a prepaid card, that would be the way to go about it. I didn't realize it was better for the game also, to buy from the site. I'll make it work next time.

If you buy anything from the Internet PayPal is the way to go. Also a great way to send people money if you ever need to. I love PayPal.

I honestly didn't know that you could do that. I have spent hundreds already and would love to be able to purchase LARGE amounts at a time.

And apple really takes 30% friggen crooks. I thought it would be like 10 or 20 max.

I believe that's in the terms and conditions from our evil apple overlords as well, if there is a discount available elsewhere the app maker is not allowed to tell u about it unless they get the same 30% cut. That's why the only place you'll find that info is in the forums.

I did. To be fair there nothing on your profile that shows you may be willing to spend $99 in 1 go. Not saying you wouldn't, I'm saying it doesn't show. And it's not just about the 10% saving for us. By using PayPal the developer actually makes more of a profit. Which in turn means he has more to dedicate to dev time. I'd go with b's suggestion.

Word! I had never really considered apple taking their cut, but it makes total sense. I want to support the game, not apple. I've given them enough of my money already.
