satellite view

it would be cool to have satellite view instead of map view. Like google maps. it's probably a google decision that can't be implemented or perhaps there is another good reason why it's not used. But I'd like it.

I agree it would be good to alternate and has been suggested a number of times...... If I remember rightly it was thought the idea would be rejected due to resources issues..... People on wifi might be alright but the 3G network would struggle

That, and the map would look very, very complex due to added differentiate colors of the environment.

Idk I wouldn't like it like that. You say that now but look at what happened to the plane ticket idea. Ppl lived it at first then after the first week everyone hated it.

That will be cool but you can switch from sattelite mode to to map mode, right?

Idk I don't like his idea. Just look the map on your device in satellite view and how much slow it is than the style TW use. Now imagine a heavily clustered area AND trying to plant. It's not worth it and it's not something that sounds like if it'll work

You can switch between on and off.

Like the idea. It would be nice to recognize where, perhaps, your grandmother lives so you can capture it. Still another part that would be amazing is if you could type in the cordanites or the adress and it would either one of two things. Tell you that you can capture it (if you can it will ask you if you want to) or bring you to it.
