Playing upside down?
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Playing upside down?-
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the orientation of the game has no stopping point? I mean, playing while your iPhone is upright makes sense, as does while the device is horizontal. But I draw the line at allowing the game to rotate while the device is upside down. With the sensitivity of accelerometers, anything approaching or past 45 degrees rotates the game, making it difficult to play at times. If I'm the only one who feels this way, please feel free to ignore this thread.

I use the orientation lock quite a bit. Double tap home and swipe right.

Not sure I'm doing it right...

This annoys me too. I turn it sideways cause I like that orientation, but I can't lay on my side and play cause it messes up the orientation

Tried it but nothing.

Ohhhh found it. But it doesn't accomplish the goal. I, like Jon Allen, like turning it sideways and the lock doesn't prevent it from only going upside down but also horizontal, thus doing more than I'd like.

You learn something new everyday, lol.

Just so it doesn't rotate when my phone is upside down.

Not sure I fully understand why it's an issue to play the game upside down. I'm typing this upside down and have played the passed few times upside down. No issues. Am I missing something?

Buy an iPad. You can lock it anyway you want. I can do summersaults and play at the same time.

Ok i still can't figure the lock thing out...

I find it useful to play upside-down when my phone is plugged into the wall charger.

Make sure you're using the iPhone/iWhatever's home button, not the game's. The Orientation Lock button is on the same screen as your music controls.
Also, you move your finger to the right, but you're navigating to the screen on your left. That might be confusing -
The orientation thing is next to the music controls. It looks like it's a refresh thing but it's the orientation lock.
What I'm saying is that I don't want it to play upside. Say, for instance, I am playing horizontally. While playing, I lay down on my side, i.e. right before bed. When I lay down, the game shifts so that it is no longer horizontal, and in line with my eyes, and is vertical while the phone is upside down. I, as well as Jon Allen and probably countless others, would like to avoid this.
