What is Turf Wars?

Turf Wars is a location-based, massively multiplayer mafia game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It shares several characteristics with the mafia-style social games found on social networks and the iPhone, with the addition of real-world "turf" that players can claim and defend.

The goal of Turf Wars is to take over your city by claiming or capturing as much turf as possible – the more turf a player has, the greater their influence. The most influential player in each city becomes its "Capo" and enjoys special recognition and benefits.

Turf Wars was released on October 1st, 2009 and is available on the iPhone and iPod Touch, in free and paid versions priced from $0.99 to $59.99.
