What advice do you have on using a mobile wifi hotspot device? Sometimes I have to drive around in circles, just to get a good location fix.

After the update I have not been able to get location, I live in rural area and sent my location off to sky hook 6months ago when I first started to play this game. I am useing a itouch and getting frustrated.

Having the same problem as you OG. They keep telling me to reset my routers but they worked perfectly until the exact minute I updated to the newest version of turf wars. Too coincidental IMHO. Now I randomly get a location fix depending purely on how it feels that day.

Mostly never get a fix though. Once or twice a day if I'm lucky, none if not.

So earlier today I had a location fix at my house, I finally updated to 4.0.2 and now I don't get a location. WTF?

I set up the skyhook for my house and been using it fine until I went to boston for 3 weeks. First it thought I was still in Boston and now I can't find my location at all. Do I need to resubmit the skyhook information?

You shouldn't have to. Try rebooting.

Game spoiled as I can't get location fix, have sent to sky hook and asked don. I will never update again.

Something is very wrong. To find my MAC adress, I have to download something on my iTouch, which is impossible.

You need the MAC address of your router, your device. Sometimes it is on a sticker on the bottom of the router, but you may have to go into the router settings to find. If that is the case, look on you router mfr's website for instructions on finding it.

I have a question. My wife is using the iPod touch and so am I. I get gps and my current location is correct, my wife on the other hand does get gps but the locator says she is in completely different state and she can't drop turfs anywhere near our location for some reason but we are on the same wifi this doesn't make sense.. I took the iPod back and exchanged it thinking maybe it's just the gps but it still does it. The funny thing is if I use her regular gps on the iPod it shows the current location correctly why doesn't it do so on turf wArs?

In other apps it's right, but in Turf Wars it is not?

I'm using the same wifi I always use but now tw is not working. The gps works with other apps and I've tried it on other wifi. This really pissed me off because it stopped working when I was in California and Utah.

I am using an ipod touch 1g my gps was working last week. I reset my ipod on itunes to factory settings ios 3.1.3 now my gps dosent work both on my wireless and nextdoors. My neighbors gps works on both our connections mine worked before i reset.

Ok, so I tore down a base I rightfully won and now when I hit "fight" it doesn't show me the list of enemy mobsters!
