When pressing the accept invites nothing happens.is there a solution I have a 3gs phone?

press it & nothing.

You are using iOS4 on 3G in UK, right? It seems like the combination for this problem to happen.
Have you tried WiFi?

I'm on 3G in the UK but have not upgraded to iOS4 and also have this problem

Yes it works on wifi but when I get home I don't have all those people nearby and I can't invite them

Pop into a place with free wifi and do it that way. I'm on itouch as well.

Mcdonalds and some other cafe places. Or just use wifi at work ;)

It seems to be something to do with being on O2's 3G network. Can you please confirm that this issue only happens when on 3G?

You will have to register to use the map. They have millions of wifi access points mapped.

Confirmed I'm on o2 but it was edge as well as 3g

Same problem - on O2 on 3G.
But also getting issue with Top Mobster list which started at the same time.

I'm on O2 and it's not working in 3G either, any reason why this is occurring?

Exit the app completely this time. A fix was deployed earlier for this problem but you need to refresh your app in order for the fix to work.

We can't be 100% certain, since we're not based in the UK and can't connect to their network. It seems like O2's network may be dropping some of the info you send to the server when you tap the "accept" button, or not letting you send the request at all.
We made another change change today that may fix the issue, please post here and let us know if it worked (iOS4 users, make sure to fully close the app before trying it). In the meantime we can accept all your pending invites for you if you send us a Feedback request.

new updated app fixes the problem for me. Accepting invites fine on O2 3G. Thanks for fixing this so promptly nick

Awesome, glad it's working! I was practically about to jump on a plane to the UK to figure it out myself (and visit some family haha).
